  • This course is for those candidates whose CCN1 has expired for either more than 12 months or for the first time and have completed the “Fundamental Gas-Domestic Natural Gas Training” under the Managed Learning Program. 

    Please Note: CPA1 is included in CCN1 now.

    Course Booking Fee: £ 400,00 (for available dates please contact us).

    Remaining Balance of £560.00 payable before the start date.

    Total Course Fee: £960.00

    Package Price includes: Two days Refresher Training and three days assessment for Domestic Core Gas Safety (CCN1) and one-appliance only. Additional appliances can be added at same time after successful completion of CCN1 (Domestic Initial Core Gas Safety).

    ACS Codes for appliances:

    • CENWAT - Central Heating Boilers and Water Heaters
    • CKR1 - Domestic Cookers
    • HTR1 - Gas Fires & Wall Heaters
    • MET1 – Meters

    For those wishing to work solely on LPG installations we also offer a core LPG Gas Assessment.

    CCN1 & One Appliance Assessment and Certification Fee is included in the course fees.

    • Gas Emergency Actions and Procedures
    • Combustion
    • Gas Pressures and Gas Rates
    • Pipe Work and Fittings, Tightness Testing and Purging,
    • Chimney Systems (Flue Flow Test, Spillage Test etc.)
    • Ventilation
    • Gas Unsafe Situation Procedures
    • Gas Controls
    • Flue Gas Analysis
    • Re-establish existing Gas Supply and Relight Procedures
  • Prerequisite
    • ACS certificate, which was expired for more than 12 months

    OR

    • Fundamental Gas-Domestic Natural Gas Training certificate issued from 01st October 2018 under the Managed Learning Programme
    • For training and experience refer to current Guidance Note 8 (ACS Entry routes and changeover requirements)
  • Achievement Upon Completion

  • Upon successful completion of the assessment, the candidate will receive a Certificate of Competence from AdSkills Certification and will be eligible to register with Gas Safe Register.
